Why a paving company gives lots away
Nick Small, who started U.S. Pave®, is a Broward County public-school graduate. Schools and nonprofits rarely have money for parking lots, so the cracks, potholes and faded stripes wait. Pave It Forward™ is our answer: each year our crews take on a few lots for schools and other nonprofits and do the work at no charge, in partnership with the Broward Education Foundation. Among them is the lot beside the front-entrance sign at Nick’s own high school.
How the program works
- 1A school or nonprofit is nominated
- 2We look at the lot and plan the work
- 3Our crews do it at no charge
- 4A Pave It Forward™ sign goes up on the lot
- 5We come back to maintain it
What the lots get
The record
Every job, every dollar, donated.
The full list of campuses, dates and work, with photos of the lots and the signs, is on the Pave It Forward™ page. Know a school, church or nonprofit with a parking lot that needs help? Nominate it there.

What it means for your driveway
The crew that seals your driveway is the crew that seals the school lot down the road, with the same materials and the same standards. We’re a local company with our name on signs all over the county, and we plan to keep it that way.
