Frequently asked questions
What damage can be repaired?
Isolated cracks, potholes, failed areas, settlement and broken edges can often be repaired. Widespread failure of the base usually calls for replacement.
Will the repair match my driveway?
New asphalt looks darker at first. Sealcoating after the repair gives the whole driveway one even color.
Can you fix root damage?
Yes. We remove the damaged asphalt, address the roots under the repair area as appropriate, rebuild the base and repave the section.
What about water that ponds?
Ponding usually means a low spot or a drainage problem. We look at elevations and where the water goes before choosing the repair.
Should I repair or replace?
If failures are isolated, repair. If cracking is widespread or the base has failed, replacement is usually the better value.
