Frequently asked questions
How thick should an asphalt driveway be?
It depends on the base and how the driveway is used. We recommend a thickness for your driveway after evaluating the site.
Can you pave over my existing driveway?
Sometimes. An overlay can work when the existing pavement and base are sound. If the base has failed, replacement is the better choice.
When can I use my new driveway?
We give you specific timing for your job. New asphalt needs time to cool and cure before normal use.
Can you widen my driveway?
Yes. Widening and extensions need proper excavation, base, compaction and a clean tie-in to the existing pavement.
Do you replace aprons?
Yes. We plan aprons around sidewalk and curb elevations, drainage and any permitting that applies.
